What’s Included in a Brake Inspection
Brakes wear gradually, so problems are easy to miss until they’re expensive. During an inspection we look at the parts that matter most:
- Brake pads — remaining friction material and even wear
- Rotors — surface condition, scoring, thickness and signs of warping
- Calipers — for sticking, leaks or uneven wear patterns
- Brake hoses and lines — cracking, bulging or leaks
- Brake fluid — level and condition
- Hardware — clips, shims and other small parts that keep brakes quiet and working evenly
You’ll get a straightforward explanation of what’s fine, what’s wearing, and what needs attention now versus later.
How the Free Brake Inspection Works
- Book any other service or repair — an oil change, diagnostics, AC service, or other charged work.
- Ask for the free brake inspection when you book or check in (or show the coupon below).
- We inspect your brakes and explain the results. If anything needs repair, you get a clear estimate first.
How Often Should Brakes Be Inspected?
At least once a year is a good rule, and sooner if you hear squealing or grinding, feel vibration, or notice longer stopping distances. Colorado driving — hills, stop-and-go traffic and winter conditions — is tough on brakes, so regular checks catch wear early and can save you money.
